The Saskatoon Blades are looking for some new staff members in the areas of communications and ticket sales. 

Communications Manager

Saskatoon, SKThe Saskatoon Blades Hockey Club is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for the position of Communications Manager.

 

The position is an administrative management position reporting directly to the President/Governor.  The primary functions of this position include managing all website, social media, communication, graphic design, and media relations of the Saskatoon Blades. 

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Excellent planning, communication, time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere as a contributing team member.
  • Experience in communications including such things as blogs, audio and video interviews, and social media.  
  • Strong working knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc…
  • Knowledge of computer technology including internal network development/maintenance and website management.

 

The successful candidate must be able to work regular work hours as well as be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as required.

 

This position offers competitive wages plus benefits and opportunity for profit sharing.

Ticket Representative

Saskatoon, SKThe Saskatoon Blades Hockey Club is seeking two (2) highly motivated and dedicated individuals for the position of Ticket Representative.

 

The position is a contract position reporting directly to the Ticket Coordinator.  The primary function of this position includes selling Saskatoon Blades tickets including new season tickets, group tickets, and individual tickets.    

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Excellent planning, communication, time management and customer service skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work in a team atmosphere as a contributing team member.
  • Experience in ticket sales processes with proven sales success.  
  • Strong working knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc…
  • Bachelor degree in sports administration, business, marketing or communications is an asset.

                         

The successful candidate must be able to work regular work hours as well as be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as required.

                           

This position offers a base wage plus ticket sales commission.  Benefits are not included with this compensation plan.
